On the divinity of religious texts…
10: 2 If God wrote Divine texts through the hands of humans, then why is there no explanation for the complexities of life, for example, genetics, evolution, physics, or calculus? 10: 3 Knowledge such as this would have been valuable to an early and fragile human civilization.
10: 4 Instead, life is explained in riddles and obvious observations. 10: 5 I do not doubt the existence of a creator. What I am skeptical about is the religious narratives.
10: 6 These narratives have been used repeatedly to control, manipulate, and justify. They are used even now to cast doubt on science and push anti-intellectualism.
